Find and switch Workspaces
A Workspace holds your team’s connectors, definitions, dashboards, and Pages. Workspaces belong to an Organization. You see a Workspace only when you are a direct member of it; Organization membership alone does not give access.
Switch Workspace
Section titled “Switch Workspace”The workspace switcher at the top of the sidebar shows the current Workspace with its Organization and your role, such as Acme · Explorer.
- Select the switcher to list your Workspaces grouped by Organization, each with your role. When you have many, use Search workspaces.
- Choose a Workspace. Monomer keeps you on the same kind of screen when it can, such as Catalog or Dashboards.
The switcher also offers All workspaces, Organization settings if you are an Organization Admin, and New Organization.
The Workspaces page
Section titled “The Workspaces page”All workspaces opens the Workspaces page. It groups every Workspace you can open by Organization, shows your Organization role (Admin or Member) and your Workspace role, and when you last opened each one in this browser. Organization Admins also see a link to Organization settings.
If the page says You’re not in an Organization yet, accept an outstanding invitation or create an Organization.
Create an Organization or Workspace
Section titled “Create an Organization or Workspace”- To create an Organization, select New Organization, enter an Organization name, and select Create Organization.
- To create a Workspace, an Organization Admin opens Organization settings → Workspaces and selects New Workspace.
Add teammates and assign roles covers both in detail, including invitations and Workspace access.
If a Workspace is missing
Section titled “If a Workspace is missing”Check that you signed in with the Google account that was invited, that you accepted the Organization invitation, and that someone added you to the Workspace itself. New memberships appear without signing in again. Agents see the same list of Workspaces you do.
